Rasayana Ayurveda is wife and husband team in a new iteration of both our entrepreneurial backgrounds together. We want to present herbalism & seaweed within the healing context of Ayurveda, and teach Ayurveda through the connection of humans to plants & seaweed.
Together, we continue our purpose-driven mission of ‘right livelihood’ by bringing together our heart's work in offering to our community through products that are healing and nourishing to our community and the Planet.
Meet Solida
I spent nearly two decades in New York City as a coffeeshop owner and restaurateur in Brooklyn, building community spaces where people gathered for food, art, music and human connection. That chapter of my life taught me grit, resilience, creativity, and what it means to nourish people on so many levels.
After many years operating in the high-energy of city life, I felt called to slow down and return to the roots of food as medicine, reconnecting with both ancient traditions and my own Cambodian heritage. Through meditation, Ayurveda, and a renewed connection to the natural world, I began to create a new path—one that merges wellness, recovery, and conscious entrepreneurship.
In 2022, I received my certificate in permaculture and herbalism in Guatemala with my teachers Sarah Wu and Lala.
Meeting Andrew was another turning point in my life. Together, we’ve built Rasayana Ayurveda as an extension of our life together: a marriage of love, ocean, and ancient wisdom. My vision is to help others find beauty in the slow moments, healing in everyday rituals, and empowerment in living in harmony with nature.
Meet Andrew
Andrew is a wonderful husband to Solida. He has been a wildcrafter, herbalist and wild seaweed harvester for over 25 years in Northern California. His mission has always been to practice right-livelihood and leave the world in a better place through living intentionally and in harmony with our Planet and each other.
